Wildgen Announces 2019 Promotions
_Wildgen's partners are happy to announce the promotion of 3 Directors and 3 Senior Associates.
Dr. Daniel Krauspenhaar (Director), is an attorney-at-law admitted in Germany as well as in Luxembourg (Rechtsanwalt and Avocat à la Cour). Daniel’s main focus is on investment funds (structuring, setting up, marketing, operation and liquidation of regulated and unregulated investment funds; set-up and assistance of management companies and AIFMs), but he also advises clients on a regular basis on banking and finance matters. As a member of the Wildgen German Desk, Daniel advises mainly clients from the German speaking countries in their native language and is familiar with both Luxembourg and German cultural background as well as local legal and regulatory constraints.
Muriel Piquard (Director), has acquired in-depth expertise in banking and finance law, corporate and commercial litigation as well as employment law. She focuses in particular on advising national and international clients on shareholders’ disputes and all aspects of directors’ liabilities. In addition, she spends significant time on commercial law and disputes, including negotiation of contracts and handling of debt claims and recovery. She is further specialising in employment law, giving pre-litigation advice, drafting and negotiating out-of-court settlements and representing employers or employees in litigation.
Romain Viard (Director), is a French attorney-at-law (Avocat à la Cour) admitted to the Paris and Luxembourg Bars. He specialises in real estate, building law, corporate law and dispute resolution and assists his clients on litigation, advisory and transactional aspects. Romain has also experience in civil and commercial contract law and international private law as well as e.g. in pleadings, writing legal memoranda, assignments, legal and judicial documents and formal notices. Romain also drafts, reviews and analyses various types of commercial or real estate-related contracts (e.g. off plan sale agreements, broker agreements, lease agreements, shares purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.) and defends the interests of his clients in different circumstances (Courts, general meeting of shareholders, etc.). He analysed legal problems in Luxembourg, French, Belgian and European law.
