Wildgen 4 Children: Success Achieved for the 2017 Edition !
_The 2017 edition of Wildgen 4 Children, a toy drive for the profit of Luxembourg associations working for the well-being and development of disadvantaged children, has just ended. Organised since 2014 by the Wildgen law firm, the fourth edition of this action has been undeniably successful.
From 20 November to 7 December 2017, no less than 16 Luxembourgish firms (ArcelorMittal, Artert-Lycée Redange, BIL, Caceis, CA Indosuez Wealth Management, Centralis, DO Recruitment Advisors, Internaxx, Kaempff-Kohler, LeasePlan, Legitech, L’Essentiel, Linc, Michel Greco, Pall Center and Wildgen) showed solidarity and organised a toy drive within their premises. The generosity of their employees combined with the support of the private individuals in Luxembourg allowed the collection of 20m3 of toys, books, school supplies, sports equipment, bikes.... After a very careful sorting completed by the Wildgen 4 Children team, Michel Greco delivered the toys on time before the holiday season to the 13 associations supported by the action.
New for this year was the big toy drive jointly organised by Wildgen, L’Essentiel Radio and the Auchan Kirchberg shopping centre. On the occasion of a live radio broadcast, on 6 December, one thousand toys were received. It was also the opportunity for the Wildgen 4 Children team to introduce the action to a large audience, and to live a unique experience.
François Brouxel, Wildgen Managing Partner comments: “Back in 2010, when we created Wildgen 4 Children, our intention was to launch a long-term action for Luxembourg associations and, especially for the children they support. As a member of the IMS platform “Part & Act”, the matching between firms and associations is particularly important. That is why this year, we sought for the support and contribution of the companies of the Grand duchy. We hope to be able to count on their collaboration for the years to come, so this initiative will meet an exponential success and make the joy of even more children”.
The Wildgen 4 Children team would like to thank all those who participated in this 2017 edition: donors, partners, associations and volunteers. Beyond this toy drive, all partners encourage you to be generous throughout the year. Associations need it!
