Wildgen 4 Children 2019 has officially launched

_Wildgen 4 Children 2019 has officially started with its toy drive for the profit of Luxembourg charity associations working for the well-being and development of disadvantaged children. Initiative is launched every year on the Universal Children’s Day, 20 November.

Wildgen has always dedicated itself, through its CSR policy, to different valued causes: Environment, Children, Women and Diversity, Innovation and Art. This year, we decided again to mobilise solidarity and generosity throughout the whole country around the Wildgen 4 Children project.

In partnership with Michel GrecoIMS and L’Essentiel and a large number of Luxembourg companies, we intend to make this operation sustainable and to support a maximum of associations, the goals of which are to assist children going through difficult moments. Help us make this action a success again and take an active part in the project by leaving toys, books, school supplies... at public collection points (Wildgen, Luxembourg - Kaempff Kohler, Niederanven - Pall Center, Oberpallen), until 09 December.

2019 also marks the 30th Anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child. On this occasion, Wildgen and Wildgen 4 Children are supporting UNICEF Luxembourg with the release of the UNICEF Report on Children Rights in Luxembourg.
This report, presented to the Luxembourg Prime Minister, M. Xavier Bettel, and the Minister of Education, Children and Youth, M. Claude Meisch, addresses issues such as poverty, violence against children and children's participation in decisions affecting them. It highlights a non-exhaustive list of 30 recommendations to further improve the situation of children in Luxembourg.

Through Wildgen 4 Children, we want to remind that protection and fundamental rights of children must remain a universal priority. So, be generous, kids are counting on you!
