Matthieu Chambon, Director, joined Wildgen's Investment Funds team in 2019.
Matthieu has significant expertise in advising clients (institutional and non-institutional investors in all asset classes, including real estate, private equity and hedge funds) in relation to the structuring, setting up, restructuring, marketing, operation and liquidation of regulated funds (UCITS, Part II funds, SIFs and SICARs) and unregulated funds (limited partnerships and RAIFs). He assists management companies and AIFMs on their licence applications as well as cross-border issues.
Prior to joining us, Matthieu worked for around 10 years in well-known law firms in Paris and Luxembourg and 5 years as an in-house counsel in the asset management industry in Luxembourg.
Matthieu holds a Postgraduate Degree (DESS) in Business and Tax Laws from Montesquieu Bordeaux IV University (France), an Erasmus Law Degree (Licence) from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich (Germany) as well as an LL.M. in International Business Transactions from Boston University (United States of America).
Matthieu has been admitted to the Paris Bar in 2005.
