Learn at Lunch - When the Funds Industry meets Data Protection
*This session is now full and registrations are closed.*
_ In recent years, investment funds, their managers and service providers have been increasingly subject to data protection regulations.
Funds are required to obtain some personal data from their investors as a result of, among others, anti-money laundering and KYC requirements and for investor suitability purposes.
As a consequence, the obligations to protect this data and to avoid breaches of data privacy legislation are clearly in focus and cannot be overlooked or ignored.
Emmanuelle Ragot, IP/TMT Partner and data protection officer, and Antonios Nezeritis, Investment Funds Partner, have the pleasure of hosting a Learn at Lunch session on 15 June in order to give you insights about the importance of data protection in the investment funds industry and the consequences of the EU reform.
Attendance is free of charge. The number of seats is limited (only 1 person per company). This session will be held in English.
Wildgen Learn at Lunch are interactive sessions, dedicated to a restricted group of people and delivered by industry legal experts sharing need-to-know information.
