About Rao Fu:
Rao Fu hails from China where he studied traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy before moving to Dresden in East Germany where he continues to develop his highly personal painting on the fringe of Eastern and Western influences. Drawing from his own sentimental journey through cultures as well as from the collective history of China and Germany, he established himself as a highly acclaimed emerging talent in neo-expressive and neo-figurative painting.
Having been accepted with alacrity by private and public collectors alike during Luxembourg Art Week 2017, ARTSCAPE is delighted to present the first solo show of Rao Fu in Luxembourg, featuring a series of mysterious yet fluid contemporary landscapes that illustrate his mastership of composition and coloring.
The exhibition and the accompanying catalogue – the first publication about the artist in French language – has received the generous support of Wildgen.
Rao Fu’s works are in public and private collections in China, Germany, and Luxembourg.
