Romain specialises in corporate law and dispute resolution and assists his clients on both litigation and advisory aspects. He has experience in Civil and Commercial Contract law and International Private law as well as in pleadings, writing legal notes, translations, assignments, requests, conclusions, legal and judicial documents, legal opinions, and letters of formal notice. Romain also reviews and analyses various types of contracts (e.g. loans, sale of shares…) and defends the interests of his clients. He analysed legal problems in Luxembourg, French, Belgian and European law.
Prior to joining Wildgen, Romain has worked for 2 years as Associate for a Luxembourg-based law firm and also completed an internship as trainee lawyer in a law firm in Brussels and Paris where he was highly involved in a pan-European study on behalf of an European institution about SMEs and trade defence proceedings (Anti-dumping investigations, Anti-subsidy and Safeguard) obtained by tender.
He succeeded the C.R.F.P.A exam from the Institut d’Etudes Judiciaires – University of Paris II - Panthéon Assas. In 2009, he did a Masters of Laws in the University of Bond in Australia. He obtained, in october 2010 the C.A.P.A (Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat).
He has been a member of the Paris Bar since January 2011 and a member of the Luxembourg Bar since May 2011, first under his professional home title and then as Avocat à la Cour.
