Emmanuelle Ragot heads Wildgen’s Intellectual Property and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (IP/TMT) practice.
Focused on both litigation and advisory work, her field of activity includes data protection and general regulatory work including unfair trades, e-commerce, licensing and internet-related issues. She has considerable expertise in legal proceedings related to intellectual property rights (trademarks and distinctive signs, domain names, patents, design and copyrights) and she represents high-profile local and international clients in the protection, acquisition, use, distribution of IP rights and TMT multi-jurisdictional data compliance projects.
Emmanuelle’s approach to IP/TMT is totally client-focused. She works upstream with her clients in order to implement the appropriate strategy to her clients' needs. Throughout years of practice in Paris, London and Luxembourg, Emmanuelle has developped a sound experience in protecting her clients’ interests.
Member of the Benelux Council for Intellectual Property since 2008 and WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) expert in Intellectual Property Rights, her professionalism makes her an IP/TMT key player in Luxembourg.
Before joining Wildgen, Emmanuelle has built a strong expertise in TMT/IP in several law firms in Luxembourg including major international law firms and has acquired a 5 years experience in France in general practice. Qualified as Avocat à la Cour in Luxembourg and France, Emmanuelle obtained her law degrees (in both private and public law) and a postgraduate in labour law, at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. In addition, she holds a “Trademarks-Designs and Models” certificate from the Centre Robert Schumann of the University of Strasbourg (Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Industrielle - CEIPI).
