Experience:
Benoit E. DIOUF is registered with Paris Bar and is also a member of Luxembourg Bar. He has started his professional’s activities as an in-house lawyer in the investment bank area in Paris and the private banking sector in Luxembourg. He also worked for a leading French and Netherlands business law firm in Luxembourg.
Benoit is specialised in Banking and Capital Market, mainly in corporate and structured finance, and project finance. He has also a broad range of experience in real estate, mining, commodities transactions and telecommunication industry and has provided with legal advice to international private equity companies involving in such sectors.
Moreover, Benoit has developed skills and practice of the West African unified business law, mainly in corporate and commercial law approved under the Organization for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) which is applicable over 16 countries. He also has an experience in providing advice and support with respect to the financial and insurance sectors in West Africa.
He is the initiator of the Club-OHADA Luxembourg having the objective to promote the African unified business law in Luxembourg.
