Administrative law
Administrative law is considered as the major branch of public law. It governs the activities of public institutions and official bodies. As a body of law, Luxembourg administrative law deals with decision-making in such areas as police, international trade, human rights, the environment, immigration or transport.
Thanks to its expertise and know-how, Wildgen deals with all issues linked to administrative law. Out-of-court settlement remains a priority for us but we also possess the skills and expertise to defend cases before Luxembourg administrative courts. Our lawyers are also very active in writing publications and lectures on administrative law and offer their services in French, German and Luxembourgish.
Our administrative law practice covers:
- Permit and regulation enforcement,
- Government contracts and Public tenders,
- Dispute resolution and judicial review,
- Environmental law,
- Workplace health and safety,
- Energy and Telecommunication,
- Professional regulation,
- Public law aspects of EC litigation,
- Data protection and Freedom of information,
- Local government and statutory appeals,
- Public law aspects of property development and land use,
- Tax.
Administrative Partner, Georges Gudenburg is the author of a book related to land use and property development and the editor-in-chief of monthly publication on Luxembourg administrative law. Our lawyers also lecture on land use within the framework of training for real estate professionals.
